Typhoon Roke's Strong Wind and Heavy Rains.
Typhoon Roke hit Tokyo in late September of 2011. Strong winds up to 100mph were blowing through Tokyo before and after Roke hit. Many people were forced to stay the night in train or bus stations due to many rush hour commuter trains being suspended. Some tried walking to their homes, even though they could barley walk in a straight line. Tokyo also had heavy rainfall, many water drainage systems were flowing water out like waterfalls. Many from other city's were told to evacuate, but in Tokyo some children were playing outside before it hit at 3:40 p.m. The Typhoon did cause leakage from a Nuclear Power Plant but other than that and flooding Tokyo's fine. I think Japan is going to keep sending out warnings, and will tell people to evacuate if they must, but other than that I don't think any other action is taking place to help with the typhoons. Below is news report over typhoon Roke.
